Researchers and Research Radio3Scienza

*

Radio3 program that deals with the themes of science is devoting the month of February specific issues of research in Italy. The researchers were asked to briefly describe their experience. I find this initiative interesting and sparkling, so I attended. Here is my contribution .

Care and dear to Radio3Scienza,
often listen to your interesting programs, and so there I write about the issue relating to Research and Researchers.

are a number of years a researcher at the Department of Physics, now School of Science and Technology, 'University of Camerino. I find that the job of researcher is extraordinarily beautiful and would do everything I did. I worked at the Departments of Physics 5 (to stay in Italy) and I can say that wherever the level of scientific research is high, often highest, international value. About the mechanisms of recruitment of researchers and, more generally, to systems internal promotion, I've never seen the particular injustices occur nor favoritism whatsoever. Departments of Physics merit is rewarded while the procedure of the competitions is itself hypocritical and unnecessary energy-consuming because the winner is predetermined.

I am also aware that the area of \u200b\u200bphysics is (on average) an exception in the panorama of the Italian university.

Non conosco infatti alcun professor who has a quality of life comparable to mine. I have never worked to make money (in fact they refused) but to avoid wasting time in idle chatter and the full potential offered by this profession, I soon reached a standard of daily life that I would not change with that of any other. I live in one of the most beautiful in the world and work from home taking full advantage of the opportunities of the great technological revolution that we are fortunate to experience. I think devas be very sad having to put in a metal box in the morning and burn fuel to go to work. I've never been part of groups and already published by a student only. They are in great shape.

I believe that the researcher devas do not only research and teaching. And in fact I do not do it for many years ... fifteen years ago the teaching experience was helpful then I realized that I did not bring in and stopped. Without free expression and climb on roofs. Instead I climbed on the roof of my house for insulation and become independent from fossil fuels. They live better and you do not even wasting money.

I know that in Italy the culture is not a value and that the research is poorly supported. I also believe that the Italian researchers, rather than aspire to a career in the service of their copings, should have been and still should seize the great opportunities insite nel loro mestiere e valorizzare una figura professionale forse unica nel panorama mondiale. Almeno fino all'avvento di quest'ultima pessima riforma.

Vi allego un paio di foto recenti e vi saluto

Continuate così
